mission statement

Recognizing the shared patriarchal lineage through Abraham, we, as Jews, Christians, and Muslims, and others from diverse backgrounds, acknowledge our common call to combat hatred and foster peace. While our faith traditions interpret the Abrahamic covenant differently, we are united by the moral principles of justice, human dignity, and the pursuit of blessing for all nations, as promised to Abraham. It is from this shared foundation that we issue this mission statement against antisemitism and in defence of Israel.

  • To reject antisemitism in all its forms: We stand together to condemn antisemitism as a grave sin against God and humanity. We commit to actively opposing prejudice, discrimination, and violence directed at Jewish people, recognizing that such hatred is contrary to the spirit of the Abrahamic covenant.

  • To uphold Israel's right to exist in peace and security: We recognize Israel as the Jewish homeland and affirm its right to exist, flourish, and defend itself. This position is grounded in the deep spiritual and historical connections of the Jewish people to the land, which is recognized by the Abrahamic traditions.

  • To promote justice and peace for all people in the Holy Land: In upholding Israel's right to exist, we also affirm the human rights and dignity of all peoples living in the land. We dedicate ourselves to the pursuit of a just and peaceful resolution for all inhabitants, recognizing the shared sacredness of the land for all Abrahamic faiths.

  • To bless those who bless Abraham's descendants: Inspired by the covenantal promise that God will bless those who bless Abraham and his descendants, we commit to being a source of blessing to the Jewish people and the State of Israel. We will do this through prayer, active support, and fostering respectful relationships.

  • To pursue interfaith dialogue and understanding: We affirm that the Abrahamic covenant is the divine framework through which God has chosen to bless the earth. While we do not compromise on the revelation of the covenant’s fulfillment in Jesus the Messiah ישוע يسوع, we acknowledge that Jewish and Muslim interpretations of the Abrahamic covenant and its contemporary meaning differ. Rather than allowing these differences to be a source of conflict, we pledge to engage in good-faith dialogue rooted in mutual respect, humility, and the shared goal of repairing the world, extending a sincere invitation to all peoples of the Middle East—including the Druze community—to stand together against hatred, antisemitism, and division.

  • To work together for a future of coexistence: We envision a future where Jews, Christians, Muslims, and all peoples—across the region, in the commonwealth of australia, and around the world—live together in peace and mutual respect, honouring the shared heritage rooted in Abraham. We will work to build this future through acts of understanding, community service, and shared witness against hatred and intolerance.
